Hey family and friends!
I am hoping to head to India in September and I would love to keep you updated on the process and to have you join alongside me spiritually and/or financially.
I have joined a good friend of mine, Katie Beth Gill, who is the founder and president of nonprofit (501c3), Ashraya Mission. Katie Beth is starting a rehabilitation home for girls who have been saved from sex trafficking, who are former sex traffic victims.
Katie Beth has asked me to come along Ashraya Mission and do counseling pro bono for these children, come up with a counseling curriculum that a local counselor can use, and do training with the local counselor over the curriculum.
I am hoping to head to India September 3-18, as long as I can raise money for the plane ticket, which is 1400 dollars altogether. Thankfully, Ashraya Mission is going to cover everything else. If you are able to give financially in any way, it would be overwhelmingly appreciated and I will be sure to keep you updated during the process.
I am going to need prayer, to be certain. Prayer for safe travels for me and the small team, prayer for these girls, for change in India, and for smooth moving in this process not only for me but for Katie Beth as she continues this process for five months.
